The (QOV) committee works alongside the QOVF and their mission, which is to cover all service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts Of Valor. Members of this committee participate by making quilts, quilt blocks and/or long arm quilting . Members may also participate and help with the Quilt Of Valor presentations to the Veterans receiving quilts. Our goal for 2026 is to have quilts completed and ready to present within a two month timeframe from the date we receive the request.

As part of the September 2025 SSQG meeting, there will be a wonderful Quilt of Valor Presentation for several deserving Veterans.
We had the honor of presenting 4 Veterans with quilts at our June meeting.
