This is our first meeting at the Philomena Family Center at 80 Palmetto Creek Lane, Hamilton, GA.
Doors will still open at 10 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 10:30.
We will have table and chair seating in a room that will hold 300 people (so we have LOTS of room to grow). As a part of our partnership with FOCUS, we will periodically be asking for donations for the food pantry.
Please bring 2 non-perishable food items to donate to the Focus food bank!
First time guests are welcome!
Our speaker for the June 7th meeting is Kathy Seaman Shaw, an author, teacher and graphic designer. She specializes in crazy quilting techniques and will be presenting a trunk show along with an overview of the classes available on her blog (see below) and her 7 books including her recent 3: Stunning Stitches, Dazzling Diamonds, and Stunning Stitches 2 (all available on Amazon).

From Anita Rodger:
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at our new location I will be accepting all quilts completed from kits, bundles and any spontaneous ones you all have created. Please put your name on them… (sharpie on painters tape works well). If you are still working on quilts I will be at the mini retreat with batting, backing and SSQG tags to sew into binding. I am working on sew dates, new kits and bundles from new fabrics, personalized tags you can put on your quilts with a message to the recipient and other wonderful things… stay tuned, stay happy 🥰
Please be patient as we may experience some schedule changes, program changes, and growing pains. We appreciate your participation and will strive to keep you informed of changes as they occur. Please be sure you check the SSQG Chat Room FB page periodically. Do not ever hesitate to call a Board member with questions! J That is what we are here for!
