The July program will be a “hands on” crafting event where members will be decorating a Pizza Box (14×14 size) to hold their 12 1/2″ blocks for the upcoming Pizza Box Quilt Challenge which will be starting in August. (See Challenges page) White Pizza Boxes will be supplied by the Guild for each member. Please bring scrap fabrics, glue, crayons, markers, embellishments, photos, etc to use in making your Pizza Box the most glamorous!
The Annual Quilt Raffle tickets and posters will be distributed to all members to begin selling for the Raffle which will take place at the October meeting.
Members who turn in 5 QOV blocks for the TAKE 5 QOV Challenge which was explained at the June meeting will receive their Flag Star pins at the July meeting. (See Challenges page)
All members are encouraged to bring 2 items for Show N Tell and will receive a Free ticket for the monthly prize drawing. And, July Birthday members will have beautiful baskets on display for auction during the meeting.
The Proposed Updated By-Laws will be presented for discussion at the July meeting and voted on at the August meeting with no further discussion. (See Membership Forms page for copies of both proposed and current By-Laws.)
