Minutes of the SEWrority Sisters Quilting Guild – November 2, 2025
Linda Brown, President called the meeting to order and opened with prayer at 10:30 A.M.
Lu Enloe, Chairwoman of the Welcome Committee, welcomed visitors and pinned new
member Carol Honsinger.
Gail McLain, Chairwoman of Membership committee, door prize drawing- winner Lee
Shattuck.
Debbie Sutton, Chairwoman of Fundraising committee, presented gift certificates to raffle
quilt ticket sales winners.

  • Lu Enloe sold winning ticket for blue raffle quilt
  • Laura Julian sold winning ticket for BOM quilt
  • Kerri Gonyou-Schelp sold the most tickets

Linda Brown, president- Presided over induction of new officers to serve from January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2027.

Karen Friberg, Chairwoman of Sunshine Committee & Debbie Sutton – presided over
birthday basket drawings.

Announcements and new business opened to the floor

  • December 6 th is SSQG Annual Christmas party.
    Bring a wrapped gift for exchange. On tag just put who the gift is from.
    We will play BINGO.
    Bring a covered dish for shared lunch. Guild to supply paper products and beverages.
    Wear your ugliest sweater for our Ugliest sweater Contest!
    Bring December birthday baskets to the January meeting.
    Don’t forget canned goods for FOCUS.

Show and Tell- Quilts and sewing projects were presented to the guild and enjoyed by all
members.
