Minutes from Nov. 26, 2022 meeting of the Sewrority Sisters Quilting Guild of Harris County, GA:
Meeting was called to order at 10:35 a.m. by President, Gail McLain by welcoming all members and visitors. New members and visitors were recognized by Brenda Bannister. New members were presented and pinned by Gail McLain with Robin Shreve assisting in the pinning.
Door prize drawing was held and presented to winning member/visitor.
This was the 2nd annual “Last Minute Gifts to Make” program.

Gail McLain: Apron with pockets
Linda Jones: Travel tray
The presentations were 12-15 minutes and each member received patterns and directions for making the gifts. It has been reported that many of these items were made and given to others during the holiday season.
There were 3-4 birthday gift basket drawings. Each winner was thrilled with their basket!
Show and Tell was enjoyed by all as our very talented members showed off their projects.
The monthly raffle was conducted by Lu Enloe.
An update of our upcoming programs and retreats for 2023 was given by Gail McLain and Cathy Poyner.
Linda Brown reminded everyone of the upcoming Christmas party on Dec. 10th from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. She reminded everyone to bring a covered dish and a pair of socks (one stuffed with goodies/treats) for the gift exchange.
Floor was opened for any updates or other announcements.
Meeting was adjourned at approximately 12:40 p.m.
