Meeting called to order by Robyn Shreve, Vice President. Introduction of speaker, Linda Camp from Sunday’s Best Quilt Shop in Ellerslie. Topic: Secrets of the Bed Covers. Linda explained the history of quilting, fabric and dyes used in early quilting which helps to date older quilts. She showed examples from many different time periods.
Show N Tell. The members presented their latest creations which were beautiful and talented as always. Basket raffles held for Monthly prize and Birthday baskets.
WIP #4 was chosen and will be due at the July meeting!
BIG MOMENT!! Athena Hart, the member who made and donated the quilt, drew the winning ticket which was: Ken Badcock and the winning ticket was sold to him by his wife, Monica Badcock so she won $100!
