Linda Brown, President called the meeting to order at 10:31 A.M.
- Announced partnership with FOCUS ministries in Hamilton through our community outreach.
- New meeting venue to be at the Philomena Family Center at 13377 US Hwy 27 Hamilton, GA starting June 7th.
- No meeting Memorial Day weekend enjoy your time with family and friends.
- Meeting dates changed to the first Saturday of each month.
Welcome Committee Karen Morgan– welcomed visitors- Tonie and Angie.

Susanne Lawson, Chairwoman of BOM Committee– reported that 36 blocks were in turned for February. BM remaining blocks were won by Lee Shattuck, Mary Bray, Debbie Sutton, and MaryAnn Feiertag.
Debbie Sutton, Chairwoman of Fundraising Committee– Announced the blue and white top is complete and ready to be quilted. The BOM raffle quilt is in progress of being assembled.
Sandy Burnett, Chairwoman of WIP – Announced that 20 participants in the WIP this year. WIP #1 is due March 29, 2025.
Anita Roger, Chairwoman of Community Outreach Committee– Announced that eight quilts were donated to Christ Community church for christening. FOCUS ministries in Hamilton were gifted twenty quilts of various sizes. Pantry items were donated today by guild members and will be donated to
FOCUS ministries in Hamilton, Georgia.
- Fill the pantry drawing winners were Donna Post, Cathy Poyner, Peggy Little, Debbie Sutton and Karen Davis
Robyn Shreve, Chairwoman of Quilt of Valor Committee – Announced February 1st was national QOV sew day and our guild members turned in 140 finished blocks which is enough for six quilts.
- QOV raffle was won by Janet Calvert- American flag quilt wall hanging.
Cathy Poyner, Chairwoman of Retreat Committee– Announced the Covington Retreat balance is due by the April guild meeting.
Jill Rains, Chairwoman of Programs Committee– Presented a program of Binding, Trimming, and Basting with a Serger. She needs more program ideas please put ideas in the suggestion box.
