The Retreats Committee plans and organizes retreats and mini-retreats for members. They work closely with the Hospitality committee and the treasurer for collection of fees.

Mini Retreat Informaton for Feb 26-28, 2026

Saturday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
We are looking forward to another fun and productive tme together!
Registration for mini retreat is open for MEMBERS only!
There will be a sign-up sheet at the January & February meetings OR you may call/text Cathy Poyner 660.216.0766 to register.
There is no charge for members to attend. Please bring your own meals OR a potluck dish to share. Please bring snacks to share and the guild will provide drinks & cups. There is a maximum of around 40 quilters. Registration is open to SSQG
members only. We do not mean to be exclusionary, but we only have “sew” much room. Thank you for your
understanding.
We would like to have goodie bags as well as some games, so please bring goodies to share with around 40 quilters. If
you have items for prizes for games. Please bring them as well. There will also be a free table as well as a sale table
available. Please label any items that you would like to sell with the price and your name.
There will be many people in a relatively small area, so please be mindful of these RULES:
- Use earbuds/headphones for any audio playing.
- Avoid wearing perfume, as we have members with allergies.
- Sew Blessed chairs are only for Sew Blessed members. You are welcome to bring your own chair.
- Remember to bring your machine, projects, notions, cords, etc.
- Each person is responsible for the cleanup of their area to include returning tables and chairs to storage area,
vacuuming their areas, and rolling the magnetic broom over their areas to check for pins. - We will need to assign a group to assist with the final clean-up on Saturday. Please help if you are able.
- If there are any issues or concerns, please let one of the SSQG Board members know right away
