BOM

The Block of the Month Committee selects and distributes BOM patterns at the monthly meetings, gathers completed blocks and keeps track of member participation. They work closely with the Fundraising Committee to create the Quilts for the Guild’s Annual Quilt Raffle, and the Community Service Committee to create the Raffle Quilt for the Annual Quilt Show. This committee ensures that copies of all the BOM patterns are loaded onto the SSQG website.

2026 BOM

Each member is asked to make at least one block each month to be donated to the guild. The blocks will be used to make the quilts that will be raffled as the next year’s big fundraiser. The fundraising committee will oversee the raffle and proceeds will go into the general fund to offset costs of speakers, workshops, etc.

We request that the donated blocks be made using white as the background fabric and one of the following colorways to make block selection easier for the committee as they turn our blocks into quilts:

Brights, Fall, Pastels, or Christmas

Every block that you donate earns a point to go in a drawing for a stack of leftover blocks.

Have fun!
