SSQG Monthly Meeting

The August Meeting Announcement:
We will begin our meeting with a QOV presentation to 7 deserving veterans! (Please allow their families to be seated near the stage)
Our program for August 1st will be presented by Dana Brue. She will have a trunk show and demonstration of the Kaleidoscope Quilt. And there will be a WORKSHOP immediately following the meeting for those who want her help cutting out your own fabric for this quilt. Just bring 4 repeats of a large print fabric, your cutting mat and rotary cutter. And if you want to start putting it together, you can bring your machine too! Dana is an excellent teacher!!
Don’t forget your Birthday baskets, your name badges, your canned goods for FOCUS, and your completed BOMs!!
If you have some children’s fabrics, the Community Outreach committee could use it for the Teddy Bear project! 12″ X WOF makes 2 Teddy Bears. They are SO CUTE!!
Hope you are working on your PIZZA BOX Quilts and will have them ready by our September meeting!
