This month’s presentation:
• Our in person speaker will be Ms. Janis Pope. Her presentation will be on fabric and how it is made as well as a trunk show presented by her.
• Show & Tell: Due to the growth of our guild and in the interest of time with our scheduled agenda we will be limiting our S&T to 1 item/1 minute per member. Your 1 item still buys you a complimentary raffle ticket for our S&T drawing. We want everyone to have a chance to show off their growing skills!
• We will be distributing raffle tickets for our Annual Quilt Raffle. Vicky Galczynski will be stationed at a table with this year’s raffle tickets. There will be 24 per bag and we ask that each member sign for at least one bag. Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5 meaning each sold bag turned in will contain $20-$24 depending on how you sold them. The guidelines for the sales and returns will be in the bags, additional tickets will be available upon request but we ask please do NOT trade/share tickets. To help us keep a good account return money & stubs and/or your unsold tickets in the original baggie with the guideline sheet denoting the ticket #’s signed out by you to Vicky. Be mindful—this is our biggest fund raising event of the year and contributes to all the activities and charitable organizations we support so your enthusiasm in this event is so important!
• A reminder that the doors to The Waverly Hall Town Hall are unlocked at 9:30 for set up and the meeting will start PROMPTLY at 10:30 so show up early to pick up your raffle tickets for the Annual Quilt raffle and to purchase tickets for birthday baskets.
• Lastly, we plan to have a number of chairs set out in the front row for those ladies that have difficulty with the auditorium style seats (auditorium seats in the front row will remain folded). If you can help place chairs and put chairs back into the smaller room it would be greatly appreciated.
